Preparing Your Vehicle for Recovery

When you have called for vehicle recovery, there are several steps you can take to prepare while you wait for the truck to arrive. A little preparation makes the recovery quicker, safer, and smoother for everyone involved. The first thing to do is gather your personal belongings. Check the glovebox, door pockets, boot, and seats for any items you need. This includes phones, chargers, sunglasses, important documents, shopping, and children's items. Once the vehicle is loaded onto the recovery truck, accessing the interior may be difficult, so it is best to collect everything before the driver arrives.

Remove any valuables that will stay with the vehicle.
